    Center map

Dukora is a small agricultural town located in the Pukhavichsky district of the Minsk region with a population of about 1,000 people. It was first mentioned in chronicles in 1554. Throughout its history, the town was owned by various noble families, with the last owners being the Hartings who left for France in 1918.

Recently, there has been a restoration of the historical estate (“mayontka”) and the creation of a tourist complex. The area already offers opportunities for active leisure activities such as paintball/airsoft, a rope park, and axe throwing, as well as various workshops, cafes, and bars.

The historical estate is a beautiful example of architecture from the 18th century and is definitely worth a visit. The restoration has been done with great care to preserve the original structure and elements of the estate. Visitors can see the unique architecture and explore the beautiful gardens.

The tourist complex is a great destination for those who seek an active vacation. Visitors can participate in outdoor activities and then relax in one of the cafes or bars. There are also various workshops available where visitors can learn traditional crafts.

In conclusion, Dukora is a hidden gem in the Minsk region, and the restoration of the historical estate and the creation of a tourist complex have brought new life to this small town.

    1. After arriving and purchasing tickets, you can immediately climb the tower of the Brama. Although not very tall, it provides enough exercise and offers a great view of the surrounding area. The climb is relatively easy and suitable for visitors of all ages.

    2. The Brama gate and central square are two of the most iconic landmarks of the city.

    3. For those who love to ride in a carriage.

    4. The city boasts its own small zoo, which is a great place to visit for families and animal lovers. The zoo is home to a variety of exotic animals, including camels, which are a rare sight in this part of the world. Visitors can observe the animals up close, learn about their habitats and behaviors, and even interact with some of them. The zoo is well-maintained and provides a safe and comfortable environment for the animals. It’s a perfect spot to spend a few hours enjoying the beauty of nature and the wonders of the animal kingdom.

    5. The “Oak of Wishes” is a rare and remarkable sight in the city, as it is a 400-year-old tree with impressive size and stature. Legend has it that if you make a wish and touch the tree, it will come true. The oak is a popular attraction for visitors and locals alike, who come to marvel at its ancient beauty and to make their wishes.

    6. One of the main attractions at the estate is the upside-down house. As soon as you enter, you’ll feel disoriented and dizzy, as everything is topsy-turvy. The furniture, the decor, and even the ceiling are all upside down, creating an illusion of a gravity-defying world. It’s a fun and unique experience that will challenge your sense of balance and perception. Visitors often spend a lot of time taking photos and laughing as they try to navigate their way through the house. The upside-down house is a must-see attraction that will leave you with unforgettable memories and a new appreciation for the laws of physics.

    7. There is a small river that runs through the city, adding to its natural beauty and providing a peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle of urban life. Nowadays, there is even a boat rental service available, allowing visitors to explore the river and its surroundings at their own pace. Whether you’re looking for a relaxing paddle or a scenic boat ride, the river is a great place to enjoy the outdoors and soak up the city’s charm. You might even spot some wildlife along the way, such as ducks, geese, or fish. The river is also a popular spot for picnics, fishing, or simply lounging on the grassy banks. It’s a lovely place to spend a lazy afternoon or a romantic evening, surrounded by the soothing sounds of water and nature.

    R. It sounds like your experience at the estate was not quite as fulfilling as you had hoped. Perhaps it felt a bit too small and lacking in excitement. It can be disappointing to quickly explore an area and not find anything particularly captivating, especially if the food options were limited and not very satisfying. It’s a shame that the restaurants were closed for special events, as that could have been a more enjoyable culinary experience. While it may be suitable for weddings or other events, it seems that the estate still has some ways to go before it can be considered a true family entertainment center. Hopefully, with continued development and improvement, it will become a more engaging and entertaining destination in the future.
